Summer Start & Turns Skills Camp in August and September 2024.

Aspire Aquatics is excited to announce Summer Starts & Turns Skills Camp for the 2024 summer. The Skills Camp is open to swimmers Age 8 - 18 who are water safe and able to swim unassisted.  Each session is limited to 20 swimmers, with a maximum of 3 swimmers per instructor. Swimmers will grouped according to ability.

Location: 

Skills Camp sessions will be held at Chapparal Community Outdoor Pool (7124 S Chapparal Cir E, Centennial, CO 80016) located near Grandview High School.

Key information on registration:

  • Session registration will be first-come, first served
  • You may sign up for all sessions at once, or one session at a time, but please note that later sessions may fill up
  • There will be no refunds if you sign up in advance and decide not to participate at a later date
  • Please complete all documentation and insurance information in order for your swimmer to participate

 

Sessions &Time:

Each session runs 7:15am - 9:45am (2.5 hours):​

Sat Aug 17- Free Start & Breakouts

Sun Aug 18 - Free Turns with Approach & Breakouts

Sat Aug 24 - Backstroke Starts & Breakouts

Sun Aug 25 - Backstroke Turns with Approach & Breakouts

Sat Sept 7 - Free Start & Breakouts

Sun Sept 8 - Free Turns with Approach & Breakouts

Sat Sept 14 - Breaststroke Starts & Breakouts

Sun Sept 15 - Breaststroke Turns with Approach & Breakouts

 
Registration Instructions:

1. On the Aspire Events page, click on the Register Online red button for the desired Session.

2. Add to Cart. Note: 

  • If you would like to register your swimmer for more than one session, repeat steps 1 and 2 to add all desired sessions to your cart.
  • If you have more than one swimmer, select each desired session/group for each swimmer and add to cart; you will be able to assign each swimmer to the correct selection later. If more than one swimmer will be registered for the same session/group, you will be able to add each swimmer to the same session/group in the following steps

3. Once all desired sessions/groups are in cart, click the "check out' button located in the upper right hand corner of the Aspire Events page. Follow Instructions to sign in for existing Aspire Aquatics families or Create New account for new families. Follow Instructions.

4. All selected Session(s) and age Group(s) will be listed in Checkout

5. Add swimmer to desired Group; in the Assign Member dropdown, select "Add new member" for swimmer. Repeat for each swimmer. Select Next

6. Complete all Agreement documents. Select Next

7. Confirm your purchase details are correct. Select Next

8. Complete Purchase
